Cow Appreciation Day 2011

This day has been written on our calendar for months. Seriously. It's one of those traditions that we go ALL out for and my kids LOVE it!! Cow Appreciation Day at Chick-fil-a!! Dress like a cow and get a FREE combo meal! For everyone!
My kids get so into it! I LOVE it!

Do I have the best husband in the world or what? This was the first year that he was home and got to come along with me all day long (poor guy!)
He free-handed the CFA logo on the back. Just looked at it, grabbed a red sharpie, and did it! I'm SO not talented like that!
Yum - Caleb loves their hashbrowns!
My friend Alli and her kids surprised us by meeting us there. She is not really a "dress up like a cow for free food kind of person". :) Two of her three kids dressed up though and so we enjoyed having breakfast with them.
then the kids went home with David and I went to get a spa manicure and pedicure! AAAHHHHHH. Felt so good. David got me a gift certificate for mother's day that I've been saving and today was the day. it was heavenly. Went home, put our cow shirts back on, and headed out for lunch at a different CFA!!! Alli texted me and said they'd meet us there!! Yippee! Another convert!
Noah had been playing with the boys when I got home and we convinced him to put a shirt on and come with us for the fun!
Alli's lone costume hold-out, Cooper, even decided to get in on the fun this time! I grabbed him and forced him to take a picture with me!! Still no costume for Alli! :)

Back for dinner time. Seriously. After karate, we went back. Noah came with us again. He thinks we are crazy, but I think he loves it too! Got my favorite salad in the world - their chicken strips salad. The best. For free.
I have lots of CFA nuggets in my fridge that are leftovers and will be great for lunch tomorrow or Sunday. We LOVE CFA!
A full, fun, yummy day!
Our total for breakfast? $35
Our total for lunch? $45
Our total for dinner? $45
TOTAL AMOUNT WE PAID? $0!!!!!

I love that David got to go. Ryan has never gone, although I think he's actually happy about that. I'm not so sure I could get him to dress like a cow, although if McKenna told him to do it he would :)

And I can't get over Caleb! He totally grew up BIG TIME since the last time you posted!! Look at all his hair! And his face is so much more matures...loosing that baby look. What a cutie pie!
