Since the BIG fireworks display was actually on Sunday night, once we got home from the parade, we had a nice low-key afternoon ahead of us! Just what these over-tired kids needed!! :) (The pictures are out of order - the afternoon pictures are at the end of the post. Too tired to fix.)
It's become quite the tradition to do our own fireworks display each year. They are illegal in TN, so David never got to do this stuff growing up and he is loving it! The boys always love doing snakes...
Sparklers are always a huge hit...
Our neighbor Noah abandoned his family down the street (where his dad was shooting off fireworks too) to come hang with his buddies Josiah and Jacob! :)

Homemade ice-cream and fireworks! Perfect! Except now you're kind if regretting the ice-cream and I'm regretting the cheesecakes, and poundcake, and many other yummy but unhealthy foods I managed to devour last week on vacation :-)
