Sweet baby Caleb (or Cai-web as Callie calls him...). I can hardly believe that his first birthday is just a few weeks away. He is growing so quickly these days - it seems he is learning a new trick every day. He takes a few steps ALL the TIME now - and is surprisingly stable. It surprises me, just like with Callie, how quick he is because he's so little. He's fast though - and strong!His first tooth finally came through last week and it makes him look older. He's down to only 2 feedings now, and tomorrow I'll drop one more. Sigh. He's done SO great with it. He drinks his milk like a champ out of his big boy cup. He's even learned to smack his lips to indicate when he's thirsty. I had totally forgotten that Callie did this same thing - totally untaught and on her own - until Kelli reminded me. Then, a day or so later, Caleb started it! He also loves to point and things - and is starting to point at things he wants (he pointed at Josiah donut this morning...poor guy!)
He's growing fast. He still is such a cuddle bug, and I LOVE to hold him. His birthday is just around the corner - I haven't decided how we're going to celebrate yet. David & I will be going out of town that weekend for a music conference so I've got to figure something out. But in the meantime, I sure am enjoying my sweet baby boy!

Such a happy boy! I can't believe it's almsot been a year either. Everytime I see a woman late in her pregnancy, I think "that was me this time last year"...and then I look at what a big boy Matthew is already! Crazy how fast the time flies.

it is hard to believe that it has been that long! caleb is very adorable... and (gulp) he's walking?!? come on now, give the kid a donut... you would have given one to mine... oh, wait, i think you did!
