Caleb

Sweet baby Caleb (or Cai-web as Callie calls him...). I can hardly believe that his first birthday is just a few weeks away. He is growing so quickly these days - it seems he is learning a new trick every day. He takes a few steps ALL the TIME now - and is surprisingly stable. It surprises me, just like with Callie, how quick he is because he's so little. He's fast though - and strong!

His first tooth finally came through last week and it makes him look older. He's down to only 2 feedings now, and tomorrow I'll drop one more. Sigh. He's done SO great with it. He drinks his milk like a champ out of his big boy cup. He's even learned to smack his lips to indicate when he's thirsty. I had totally forgotten that Callie did this same thing - totally untaught and on her own - until Kelli reminded me. Then, a day or so later, Caleb started it! He also loves to point and things - and is starting to point at things he wants (he pointed at Josiah donut this morning...poor guy!)

He's growing fast. He still is such a cuddle bug, and I LOVE to hold him. His birthday is just around the corner - I haven't decided how we're going to celebrate yet. David & I will be going out of town that weekend for a music conference so I've got to figure something out. But in the meantime, I sure am enjoying my sweet baby boy!
