One of the cool things they've done this season is have a restaurant sponsor each game. Their mascot comes out and they give all the players a coupon for a free kids meal! It's been awesome - we've had Salsarita's, Uno's Pizza, Chick-fil-A, Chili's, Firehouse Subs - talk about fun! This week it was obviously CFA's turn. Callie LOVES mascots - seriously. Once they hit the field, she stays RIGHT next to them. It's almost embarrassing! When we went to redeem our free sub coupon at Firehouse, the guy that was at the register said "I remember you guys from the Upward game". I remembered he was the one that walked around with the mascot so of course he recognized Callie!!! :) And in case you were wondering, Callie was looking for the cow's tail...
The only picture I got from Jacob's game...and all you can see are his legs...sigh....he was playing quarterback on this play and handing the ball off....it's a little tricky getting pictures of jacob because david is coaching and i have caleb and callie to keep off the field :)
Now here's Josiah's game...he's quarterback here too...very serious and very focused.

the children and i were at target one morning and three chick-fil-a cows were there. of course we scooted over hoping they were handing out coupons, but they were just walking around taking pictures doing various things. morgan asks about them whenever we go to target now.
i wish we had upward flag football around here. i've gotta look into that for next year...
