Last Day of Swimming Lessons! (May 28)

David had the great idea to sign the kids for swimming lessons before we moved. We always have the kids take a class in the summer, and we didn't know what lessons would be offered in SC. It was definitely David's idea - I felt like I couldn't handle one more thing on my plate - but it was a good idea in the end. The kids always enjoy their lessons, and they do great at it. And I'm relieved not to have to scurry and figure some way for them to take lessons here until I know the ropes.
We lucked out and discovered our friend Erin was in Jacob's class. He probably stressed the teacher out quite a bit as he is VERY comfortable in the water and already knows how to swim. He wasn't always too thrilled to sit on the side and wait while she was working with someone else, but he did a good job for the most part.
Josiah enjoyed his class as well, and even got to practice diving at his last class. He's been swimming on his own for the last couple of years, and I had hoped he'd improve his strokes in this class, which he did.
I love my little fish!
(And by the way, I have NO idea why blogger is importing my pictures all crazy like this now. Good grief!)

i'm glad you were able to work it in, i know they loved it and now you can just swim at your neighborhood pool until the baby arrives! :) i'm trying to get lessons lined up for the boys once Harrison is out of school
