Callie has been watching her brothers play sports for the last 4 years and her time had finally come!! She was old enough to do Upward soccer with them and she was so excited!!! Their first practices were supposed to be last Thursday but got rained out, so tonight was her night! I didn't really know what to expect - she talks more about being a cheerleader or a ballerina, but when we asked if she wanted to play soccer this season, she was SO excited and definitely wanted to play! So we got her cleats and decided we'd see what would happen!
Is it just me or does she look older? :( She was very excited!
Her coach is super sweet - young, plenty of energy, very encouraging - just what Callie needs!!
The boys got in trouble and had to sit out for a while...I had an extra 2 year old with me (watching a child for a friend of mine) and wasn't going to put up with extra nonsense from boys that are old enough to know better!
Callie totally loved it! She did everything her coach told her to do, listened and followed directiosn...and had a LOT of fun! :) I was so proud of her! This should be a fun season!
It was a warm day - everyone had pink sweaty cheeks when we went home! Love that! :)
