We we got home late Friday afternoon, we had a very important social obligation to attend! Our neighbor Joel was having his 6th birthday party! (Joel is part of the family that kept the boys for us the last time we had to go down to SC. A WONDERFUL Christian family, the dad is a pastor at a local church here in the area, and the mom knew David from Memphis days...). Anyways, the boys were THRILLED to be a part, because it was a STAR WARS party. Does it get any better than that?
All the kids were invited to come dressed as their favorite Star Wars character.
Josiah and Jacob...who was no dummy and was NOT taking his eyes off the "other" Darth Vader!
Joel's mom had several great "Jedi Training" activities that the kids had to go through in the backyard. The weather was PERFECT and the kids had so much fun!

The plates were 3-D!! How cool is that?
They had an amazing cake with Mace Windu and Jango Fett on it. The figures were very impressive!

I can't believe how fast everyone's growing up! I guess the world truly doesn't stop just because we moved away! Happy Birthday Joel!
