We got home that night around 9 pm and got the kids in bed. David was still at church for rehearsals and so I started unpacking in preparation to repack the next morning! We hadn't told the kids about camping yet, but I knew they were going to be SO excited!! I made my list of what I needed to pick up at the store the next morning, started laundry, and cleaned out the car. Time for the spring break fun to continue! :)

Another Milestone
We left to go back home on Wednesday after lunch. It's always sad to leave - we could stay at Tutu's house forever I think! I have a few kids that would be happy to stay for sure! The drive home went very well - no traffic which definitely helps! It's a 7.5 hour trip, plus an hour when travelling with kids who need to stop to eat and potty breaks. They did great though. We stopped at a Chick-fil-A for dinner where the kids could play and I was able to nurse Caleb. While I was feeding Caleb his solids, the kids were ready to exchange their kids meal book for ice cream. I told them that if they wanted it, they'd have to go to the counter and ask for it themselves...and they did!! I think Jacob did the talking (I'm pretty sure Josiah didn't open his mouth at all...), but they did it! Hooray! :)
