As you can see, I wasn't the only one SO excited for Kim's family to arrive!!! The boys were very ANXIOUSLY awaiting their arrival. I let the boys stay up from the naps so they would be awake when they came!
Here's all 7 cousins having lunch once they got here. Starting with Jacob in the RED shirt and going clockwise, it's Jacob, Luke (10), Josiah, Callie, Mary (12), Matthew (almost 2), and John (8).
John and Matthew. Matthew used to look JUST like John with his brown eyes. But now that he's gotten older (and his hair lighter!), he is looking more and more like Luke!

After a quick lunch, we headed off to the pool so the kids could swim off some energy. After all, they'd been in the car for 9 hours! The kids all picked up like they had just each other yesterday and had a great time swimming. We came home and I served the grilled kielbasa and baked mac & cheese before having to leave for choir/band practice at 5:30 pm. It was a very exciting household to leave, and I knew I'd be missing some excitement! Poor Kim - I left her at home with 7 kids!!!

i can just imagine the squeals and giggles when they arrived! what a wonderful thing for them to be able to come and visit!
