The day started with a good long run - we did 7 miles and ran around West Palm Beach at the intercoastal and around Palm Beach Island. It was BEAUTIFUL! We ran with Kelli and her running partner, Melissa - they've trained together and run all their marathons together. They were gracious enough to let us tag along on their run that morning. They had to do 12 miles, so they did the first 5, and then David and I met up with them. It was so fun!
Uncle Scott took both of the boys out on his paddleboard that afternoon when we headed to the beach -they thought it was very fun! In this picture though, David is helping Scott look for his IPOD, which he dropped. Unbelievably enough, David found it - that's a testament to the clarity of the water. You could see the bottom! It was beautiful!
Uncle Scott and his paddle board - it's HUGE!
After we checked into our timeshare, we went out to dinner at the Cheesecake Factory. It was delicious (as always) and we just kept talking about how fun it was to be there by ourselves - without children, without cutting up food, without hoping the waitress won't take very long because our kids are hungry, without trying to keep anyone quiet. it was wonderful! Oh - and I remember Courtney saying after her trip how fun it was to wear a dress to dinner - i did the same thing! Wore a dress everytime we went out. It was SO fun to be dressed up and feel pretty!
After dinner, we headed to the movies (one of David's FAVORITE things to do, and something we don't get to go out and do very often because of the kids and the expense). He had me take this picture of him by the Hulk to show the boys. The funny thing is that Kelli took them to the free movie on Tuesday, and they took a picture in front of Hulk at their theatre too!! We saw Get Smart, and it was hilariously funny!
