The Wax Museum

After our fun at the safari zoo, we drove just a few exits down on the highway to stop off at the wax museum. We'd never taken the kids to one of these and it was hilarious! This was the sight that greeted us at the front door! :)

They had a whole Garden of Eden scene...I love to see Biblical stories incorporated in national, historic places! :)

Jacob was TOTALLY freaked out by all of this - he wasn't sure what to make of it. Totally scared to go around every turn. I think he thought they were real people/animals that could jump out at any second!
David, Josiah, Jacob, and Callie in front of one of our favorite presidents - George W. Bush!
Me and Mom in front of one of our...ahem...not so favorites....Obama.

Then we went into the room where they had a little 5 minute sound production of the Last Supper! The kids were totally transfixed, and it made for some wonderful conversation later. Callie sat with my Mom and talked with her at length later on about the scenes. It was quite a fun afternoon at a new museum! :) Now we were on to see Natural Bridge!
