An "Off" Day

We've started off today sort of "off". I was very much looking forward to starting our week getting back into our normal routine. David headed off to school again this morning and I was ready to go! Unfortunately, Callie woke up at 6:30 AM (who knows why!), and then Jacob woke up with a fever of 102!! Not sure where that came from, but my routine went right out the window!!! Couldn't go to the gym for my workout this morning, but we've adapted. Jacob ate a good breakfast and says nothing else hurts, but he definitely got more sluggish as the morning went on. Callie took a good first nap, but only had a catnap for her 2nd, so who knows what the afternoon will hold!! This is the first time either of the boys have been sick at all in the last year (they weren't even sick at all last winter!), so I'm very thankful for that!! We're just going to muddle through and try to enjoy the quiet day and get Jacob healthy!!! I'm hoping to try and get to the gym tonight once David gets home, so that will feel good. We'll wait and see though!!!

No fun with a surprise sickness! Hopefully it will be gone by morning and the rest of the week will be better. I can hardly believe it's school time already! I know some moms ready to get the new year under way too (Natalie, Marcia, Sue, Heidi!).

David's back to school! I'm sure he was glad to get started up again and not have to worry about my phone calls! :) His new question each day, I predict, will not be did Beth call today but rather how many times did she call today! Only once David...so far! :) Hope Jacob starts feeling better and that he doesn't develop any other symptoms. :( Poor little guy! Those fever only sicknesses can really throw a mom for a loop! :) Happy gym time tonight hopefully!

Cody came down with that fever last Monday. No other sypmtoms, just a sudden 101 tempterature. He wanted to be held all day long. (Which of course I hated...Yeah Right!) It was strange to see my normally bouncing off the walls child sit in my lap all day. Fortunately, it only lasted 2 1/2 days. Hopefully Jacob will be up and healthy again very soon! Let us know if you need anything!

Bless his little heart!! In a warped kinda of way though...the "off" days are always a great reminder of how good the "on" days are! :) You will appreciate the end of this week when ya'll are back "on!" :) Hugs & kisses to all! Please call if you need any help!
