Feeling Good!

It's been a good day here so far. I'm feeling slightly more on top of things today - at least for now. I think alot of it has to do with the sunshine that we've had - just makes everyone happier! Well, that and the fact that I leave on Friday for Florida with Callie!! Two of my sisters, my mom, and I are giving a baby shower for my sister Kelli this weekend and I'm so excited!! So I'm trying to get my ducks in a row. Got taxes done last night. Got some of the paperwork filed away today. Got my shower curtain liner scrubbed (major ewwww...do you people do this? Or just buy a new one when it gets nasty? I hate it). Getting ready to put lasagna casserole in the crockpot so it's ready when we come home from basketball practice. Running to Target before David gets home to get two birthday presents for the two birthday parties that the boys have this weekend while I'm gone. So feeling good!! So thankful for days like these!

Congrats on your good day -- if you put the shower curtain in th washing machine with hot water and bleach it comes clean -- a little more wrinkly from the spin cycle -- but clean without the scrubing!

Isn't it amazing what a little sunshine can help us get done. Dollar tree has shower curtain liners and I always just bought a new one for the kids bathroom and bought a nicer "icky" resistant one for our bathroom.

I have bought those shower curtain liners that are some sort of fabric (like they have in some hotels). They're like $10, but I've kept them for up to four years before. I machine wash them and bleach them and I think they last a long time.
I'm glad you're feeling good and that you're staying on top of everything despite the crazyness of your world right now! I'm so glad you're going to get away for a few days. Sounds like fun. I could use a little Florida right now!

Hey Katy! We are also loving the weather. Looks like we have a couple nice days ahead too!

As for the shower curtain liner, I usually throw it in the wash with some detergent and vinegar (I read about this in a magazine but I don't remember which one) and some towels. It works great. Once you hang it back up, the wrinkles all come out while it dries. I can usually do this many times before I actually have to replace it. Have fun in Florida!

so glad you enjoyed your day yesterday...much better than my day! :) as for the shower curtain, i've always thrown them out. they are so cheap and it's worth the few dollars spent to avoid that nasty job. but it looks like you got some good suggestions about the washing machine option. :) i can't wait to hear about your weekend and the shower! i am SO GLAD you get to go!!

You must be in your second trimester...you have the "go" of a hundred women! Hope you have a wonderful GIRLS week and the boys have fun hanging together! And for goodness sake, go to dollar tree and get a new liner, woman!
