As we're driving home from church this morning, David says to Josiah 'Tomorrow's your first day of school buddy! Are you excited?"
Josiah says "Really? Yea! I'm so excited!" He then says to Jacob "Jacob, tomorrow you're going to be the oldest boy at home. Are you excited?"
Jacob says "Yea! I'm excited!"
Josiah says "And don't forget, you have to take care of everything for me while I'm gone, okay?"
Jacob says "Okay, I will."
These are sweet boys. We have been talking lots about Josiah starting school, but also about the fact that Jacob will be the oldest boy at home with me now, and all that entails for him. He's excited about it. He will surely miss his brother, but I think will LOVE being the oldest, getting to CHOOSE what he wants to play rather than just going along with josiah, and those kinds of things!
