After we got back from our *chilly* walk, we deposited the babies here while we took jackets off and started the fires up again :)
Mom opened a gift from Kristen. Kristen had a picture of Mom and the four of us girls from Hawaii (we think we were probably 3, 5, 9 and 10?) and had it digitally restored and framed and gave it to Mom. And then she told us girls she had a copy for each of us too - yippee!! :)

We knew that after an afternoon full of some southern delights, a "lighter" dinner would sound pretty good. Kelli and Kristen decided to be in charge of making some bistro sandwiches & salads.
It was WONDERFUL and totally hit the spot! Roast beef, brie, and tomato sandwiches on a baguette. Spring mix salad greens with goat cheese, pecans, and homemade vinaigrette!!
