Aaaahhhh...finally caught up

Well, I sacrificed my nap this afternoon to get all caught up with you, my dear blogging friends. I've been in such a whirlwind of chaos these last several weeks, and so it felt so good to get all caught up, see precious pictures of you and your families, and hear all the hilarious stories that have kept you busy these last few weeks.

We had quite a full weekend - getting the house listed on the market was the biggie. David was out digging flower beds and mulching IN THE DARK on Saturday and Sunday night. How thankful I am for this man. He spent his ENTIRE weekend either painting at a friend's house, painting at our house, or doing this stupid yard stuff to get the house ready. He was exhausted.

This morning we left for school at 8 am and had to have the house "picture ready". Our realtor came by this morning to take all the pictures for the marketing stuff, so it was a little hectic. I was up extra early to try to have everything ready. There were a few things I forgot, but i'm sure it will be fine. Big sigh of relief. Hopefully the worst of the "major" projects are over - we still have a few little things to do (replace blinds in boys' room, light switch cover here and there, etc), but i'm hoping to get back to some kind of normal this week. We'll see!!

I know it's bitter sweet for you. An answer to pray and opportunity for great new things the Lord has in store, but I know hard to leave at the same time. Your faith is so alive and that's awesome to see with all the changes. I'm hoping and praying that the sickness doesn't carry you all the way through this time. Been there not too long ago and I know it's not fun at all.

Katy, you do all this with such grace! You are truly an example to all of us that know you. Not to get to sentimental here on a blog, but you got through to me with words when no one else seemed to...so thank you! I am certainly praying you through all of this. I promise that. For your friendship and example, I am grateful!

We have been praying and talking about putting our condo out on the market too with our move. We originally talked about renting it out especially in this market, but we might lean on selling it. We are proud of you guys and proud of David for working so hard on the projects. God is good and will bring the perfect buyer along. Its a buyers market, but God will provide. He is a rich and wealthy God and wants to give you guys the best! We can't wait to watch Him unfold this part of the story. :)

WHew, been there done that - I pray that God will give you the energy to keep that house in 'showing order'. More importantly we should ask that the Lord provides grace to whomever sets foot in a home occupied with 3 kids (and 1 on the way!!). Hope it sells FAST!

Katy, it's so good to see you back on board here and to hear additionally how everything is coming together. The waiting game is never fun, but isn't it great that the Lord paved the way for this in the Fall with the Bible studies at church! God knows what we need and are going to need in the future. We will continue to praise Him and see how He orchestrates (using one of your words!) it all! Love you all!

PS-as a response to the other blog, our home looks beautiful and am grateful David has made the time to help us out with all else. Can't wait to have you over to see it all!! And another sidenote-I know the Lord has something in store for me as well when it comes to the timing of our second one! So thanks for a sideways encouraging note!!

Whew. I am exhausted reading this post:) I will pray that all the pieces of the puzzle fall into place. I know that God is going to just amaze us all beyond belief when all is said and done. Love you!
