Change of Plans

I almost laughed out loud reading the title from my last post...as I'm about to post this one. I DO love my babies, but one of those SWEET babies wasn't so sweet today!!! Jacob had a rough day. It was evident at about 10:45 this morning. Trying to push through to make it to nap time. Then something happened and he got a burst of energy after lunch and vetoed his nap (just in case you're wondering, he stayed in his room for those 2 hours, just never fell asleep....) Makes for a very long afternoon. And we had BIG plans that had to change. Shores' football team made the playoffs last week and had a game tonight that we were all planning to go to. Then Jacob had his "day". So I stayed home and put him to bed EARLY and Josiah went with David. I was really disappointed - was looking forward to it, but one of those times that you have to make a point. So I'm REALLY hoping the Seahawks win tonight so we can go next week!!!

Don't you hate days like that? -- but we all have them...hopefully tomorrow will be a better day for you!

We've had many of those days and I'm sure many more are to come!! Don't you wish those days came with warnings and don't you wish those days happened when you had nothing on the calendar!!

Sounds like the story of my life! Isn't it amazing how someone so small can have such control of our lives? Sounds like you handled it well!

I hate when those days happen when you have something you really wanted to do all together. At least you have this Friday night coming up - Go Seahawks!
