When I heard everyone was going to come up for 4th of July, one of the things I was MOST excited was the prospect of having all those hands to go blueberry picking!! :) We took Mom for her first experience last year and knew my sisters would love it too! So off we went on friday morning with the goal of getting LOTS of blueberries for everyone to take home!
Luke and Josiah
Jacob and Matthew
This is what we look like everywhere we go! :) a herd of people! We were listening carefully to the instructions from the farmer (well, all of us except for Callie!! She apparently was napping!)
These two were troopers once again. Sam LOVED eating the blueberries and ate a TON of them!
David and Judah escaped to some shade after a bit
We made some special "sparklers" of our own when we got home! We had fresh strawberries and blueberries on a kebob stick topped with a star shaped marshmallow! My intent was to make a platter of them but the kids decided to make and eat as they went along! :)
Kim's family had to leave after lunch because Mary was going to be flying out the next day to Hondorus for a missions trip! We were SO thankful for the time we had together and look forward to the next time!! :)
