Inventors

Some friends of ours have recently completed building a fort for their son in their backyard. Since then, it has renewed the desire for the boys to have a tree house -something David has talked with them about for years. However, it is a "one day" kind of project, meaning "one day" we would like to build one, but not tomorrow! The boy have grown less and less patient and decided to take matters into their own hands. This is what we found them creating the other day after school.

Yep, that's masking tape. What's even more hilarious is that they've been charging people to go across this "obstacle rope course" thing, and kids have actually been doing it! Crazy I know. I think they've already made $5 and have big plans for the future! :) I didn't want to dampen their creative minds, but really - masking tape to hold rope and trash and wood to a tree? The HOA is probably going to write us up!
David took this picture - because I DEFINITELY would not have trusted their creation to hold my two babies up off the ground!!!!
