Guess what book we got at the libary??

GREEN EGGS AND HAM!!!!
Josiah actually mentioned it to me yesterday that he wanted to make this. So after storytime today, we checked out the book again and made this for lunch. Of course the boys LOVED it!
Don't let her face fool you - she gobbled it all up. She was just annoyed that I was interrupting her lunch to take a picture of her.

I do not like them Sam-I-Am, I do not like green eggs and ham!!! Something about that green color has always kept me from gobbling them up. Fun times though. Are you sure you don't want to homeschool, you sure do seem to have a lot of creativity when linked to learning?!

Katy, you have to be the coolest mom ever! Good for you for making green eggs and ham. What fun. That is something my mom would have done...I need to get more in the spirit of creativity.

I'd be happy if my kids would just eat the eggs when they were yellow :)

I remember making green eggs for my class when I was student teaching. I didn't try them though. It just looks way too gross. It's like green ketchup, it just doesn't seem right!

I have to say, that first picture is disgusting!! Totally fun though:) Glad your kids don't discriminate:) Mine probably wouldn't either, though they'd have to have ketchup mixed in to please their palate...that would definitely be a horrifying presentation right?:)

I know all about green eggs and ham. We used to do the whole Dr Suess Series when I taught preschool and made them in class with the kids. They do look icky though dont' they.
