Sunday night we took Grandmommy to our favorite little Mexican restaurant. Callie kept looking at the boys when they would say "Cheese!", so she wouldn't look at the camera. oh well!

Okay, so forgive the lighting, and forgive the weirdo way that I'm standing (it looks like I'm prego or something). But we had to wear all black or white for the concerts, and you KNOW how much I love to be matchy matchy with my family! Oh - and I got these AWESOME new black pinstripe pants that I LOVED!!!!

Jacob and Grandmommy were having some marshmallows at the pool!It's been a fun, busy few days. Grandmommy got here safely, although there were some "issues" with the flight. She missed her connecting flight and so arrived shortly before 6 pm on Saturday. Of course because of the concert that night, we couldn't pick her up. She took a cab from the airport to the church and caught most of the concert that night. The concerts were wonderful - very worshipful and meaningful - perfect for what our church needed. There were lots of "issues" throughout all 3 concerts...my voice was really struggling during my solo all 3 performances. Technical issues popped up, etc - I really think Satan was trying to do whatever he could to stop the worship from happening, but he couldn't. It was tremendous.
We've had a wonderful time with David's mom - the kids have enjoyed being with her and I've been taking lots of pictures to build these memories!!!

David's mom seems so nice - she seems like a very warm grandmother! We really enjoyed the 'How Great is our God' - y'all did awesome, as usual. I thought your voice was great.

What a wonderful weekend! Bummer, I did not get a chance to meet her. By all accounts she seems fantastic!
