Happy Birthday, Jesus!!!

Here's the crew (minus the littlest ones....)
L-R Jacob, Josiah, Bradley, Alexander, Ryan, Peiyton (with Emmah running in front), Greyson, Parker, Joel, Anderson, and Erin. Whew!!! (not pictured is Alayna, Hamilton, Emily, Carter, Cody, and Callie....18 kids....really?)
Working diligently on the craft...
Alexander, Josiah, and Bradley working on the trees...
I love this picture - this is what the kitchen looked like for about 2 hours - moms and kids, holding babies that weren't even your own, helping someone else's 3 year old glue on sequins...I love it!
Mrs. Ratz made VERY special star cupcakes!!!
Jacob was tuckered out after the party!! I promise I didn't even pose him!

This was the moms at the beginning - the kids were outside playing in the backyard...they didn't know it was the calm before the storm!
Joel and Alayna eating lunch....looks like a date, doesn't it! (Heidi, Alayna looks so big to me in this picture!)
Callie was chasing Hamilton around - they were looking for something for sure!
Anna - she is such a happy girl!!! She was happy to watch all the action happening around her! I continue to look at her and see God's hand in how He has healed her!
Carter....would have REALLY liked a cupcake, I just know!

What a GREAT day of fun and making memories we had today!!! We had all of friends over from small groups and a had a big, giant birthday party for Jesus! My little bitty house was busting at the seams and we enjoyed every minute of it!! We had a great lunch together, then enjoyed a craft (you da woman Heidi!), decorated some sugar cookies (still stepping on little sprinkles all around....), enjoyed singing Happy Birthday to Jesus and blowing out candles on cupcakes, and read the Legend of the Candy Cane together. It was a great celebration for Jesus - thanks for making it so special, friends. We hold you all so dear to our hearts and are so VERY thankful for each of you!!

Your house is so cute!! I love it and was admiring your christmas garland and the curtains on the kitchen window! :)

What a great idea...this is how our church community is going to be in about 3 years...a few are starting with babies now and soon it is going to explode!! :) I know Jesus is pleased not just with a birthday celebration but with children who are learning to do these activities for Jesus!!

We had a fabulous time yesterday and were so appreciative of all the festivities. I think we crammed everything you could do at a Christmas/birthday party in, and within 2 hours at that. I hope this can become a tradition - we had such a great time.

Katy, I must say you are one brave lady. That's a lot of kids but a great way to honor Jesus and a good reminder for everyone of the real reason for the season. We're having our birthday party this Friday. I'm not as crazy as you, we've only invited 8!!

Katy, thanks so much for graciously hosting such a great time for the kids. I know alot goes in behind the scenes wheather big or small to make it happen and it certainly turned out big for sure. We had a great time!!

Alayna does look so big doesn't she? I think she felt big too sitting in that big kid chair:)
