Callie's Party

Would you believe this is the only picture I got of the 3 of us? Me, David, and Callie? Cute anways...
The butterfly cake that I made for Callie - it turned out really cute! Thanks Sandi, for letting me use your pan!
This is where the fun was REALLY happening! (and no, they aren't supposed to be standing on the top bunk...)
Callie and Delaney (who turns 1 at the end of April) looking longingly at the backyard...Would you believe that this is the ONLY picture I have of Callie in her cute pink party dress? Did anyone else get a better one? I'm so annoyed!!!

I had not intended to post about Callie's party until tomorrow. After all, it was 10 pm, and I was ready to go to bed. I decided I'd better just check the blogs really quick since I hadn't been on this last week (remember it was NUTS!) Well, here I am, almost 2 hours later. Finally all caught up with you guys, and guilted into going ahead and posting it now so I don't get behind again!!! I'm hoping to start the week off all caught up with things!!!

So, Callie's party was Friday night and was so much fun! We had a house FULL of friends, but I was so very thankful to be blessed with wonderful friends and neighbors that love us and love our children and want to celebrate them with us!! We are truly blessed. Callie had a great time seeing everyone and showing off her new walking skills!! The other kids seemed to have a great time too - there was quite a pillow fight back on the boys' bunk beds, and the rest of us adults enjoyed catching up too. Callie enjoyed her cake - ate it quite daintily, I would say. She was in bed asleep before the guests even left (the perils of doing a Fridy night party), but very much enjoyed herself!!!

The cake is adorable. We are so sorry we missed Callie's big party. I am going to have to call you when it comes time for Bradley's cake. Yours are better than any of the professionals :)

Wow, Katy! You did an awesome job on that cake! Callie looks adorable and we just hate that we missed out on such a fun time! Looks like she got some fun presents! Gotta love the stroller and baby doll! Sadie started out with those early too. Girl stuff is just so darn fun! That game looks fun too. I'll have to look into that one...never heard of it before!

Katy that cake is beautiful, awesome job!!!! She does look like she ate that cake daintily. It doesn't look like she took the plunge into it.

Your cake is quite a work of art. You never cease to amaze me Katy! How did you get that done with everything else you had going on last week?? I'm glad you survived all the busyness and had a great time too.

It was a fun party and I think it wore all the kids out. So glad we could celebrate Callie's special day with her!
