Another One Down...

Josiah's fish died last night. The sad thing about it is that David noticed it was not doing well last night...swimming not quite straight, etc. It was sort of creepy - I didn't even want to look at it. I told him to flush it this morning when he discovered it, but he felt like he needed to let Josiah see first. He told him and Josiah immediately buried his little head in the pillow. It was sort of sad. Jacob was very sensitive ("are you okay, Josiah? It's okay, we'll get another one") and then jumped up to go see the dead fish. Sad. He was fine when we got back from the gym - he was talking about how fish don't last forever and we'll get another fish one day. Oh well...

I still remember the day my mom decided to clean under the fish tank and when she picked it up she dropped it on the floor and I stood there crying as my fish were flipping around on the floor. I wasn't allowed to save them b/c my mom was afraid I would get cut on the glass. She tried to save them, but within 2 hours all of them had bit the dust. Amy, Tim and I had quite a funeral that day!! We sang, quoted scripture and everything.

oh...poor guy!! So sorry...Its quite sad. I loved that jacob was sensitive...that is sweet.

My step-dad's dog passed away this week too...Pumpkin, she was old...but still it is always sad.

Somehow I wouldn't doubt Judy's story about burying the fish...with Scripture, praise music and the whole 9 yards! :) That makes me smile. Judy, you're precious!

so sad. poor josiah. it's a tough lesson to learn. poor harrison lost 5 in a matter of days and now he's a bit desensitized to the whole thing. don't know if that's a good or a bad thing! :)
