Oh Callie girl. This sweet little girl has been keeping us hopping lately. She has learned two new tricks that have been making me crazy! The first trick is learning how to do zippers. Here's why this matters - because now she can unzip her diaper bag or my purse, pull out my wallet along with everything else in there (credit cards, receipts, money, etc). Sigh. The second trick is how to open doorknobs. This means that no longer does a closed door keep her OUT! For example, we keep the office door closed. But lately, I have found her in there either sitting at the computer desk, or - even better - up ON TOP of the washing machine (the laundry room is behind the office) poised and ready to do something - I don't know what - throw things, eat laundry detergent, who knows!
She's an awfully sweet girl, with quite a BIG personality, but she is keeping us on our toes (and on our KNEES lately). The nursery workers told me on Sunday that she's been a bit aggressive in her Sunday School class lately (she scratched some sweet girl last week), so they're going to be trying some different tactics with her. Poor girl - her big brothers have ruined her. All she knows is how to defend her territory and stand up for herself! So we're working on GENTLE hands!! :)

Jonathan went through the biting phase, something I never had to deal with with Clara. Once he bit the little girl down the street and left a mark for at least a month. He's only aggressive towards other kids his age or younger, hopefully he'll outgrow that soon!
i just love that girl! she is gonna be just fine! she'll work out of this and learn to be gentle! :) i'm sure her nurturing mommy skills will start emerging soon! :) hey, i'm paying close attention. jackson is SO much like jacob there is a good chance addison will be like callie. i better start praying for her now!!! :)
All I can say is she's a hoot!
Yep, we've entered that same zone with Carter - he is into EVERYTHING and let's just say that's difficult when you are not in your own home!!!! Bless her heart - she probably thinks she is a boy but wearing skirts!!!
What size clothes is Callie wearing these days? She always looks so little compared to her brothers, but I'll bet she's not that tiny! It's hard to tell in pictures. This post does make me think about my McKenna and wonder if she'll be as rough and tumble as her brother. Just this morning Christian came running to tell me that "Kenna" was opening Christmas presents. I think I've got a mover on my hands!
SO CUTE>..I love these cheesy smiles of hers! :)
Oh, I know full well what's it's like to have a sweet girl keep you on your toes and a not so sweet girl at times keep you on your toes.... for me anyway.
